Shipbuilder Robert Moran built his mansion in the Arts and Crafts style – celebrating honesty of craftsmanship, simplicity in design, and the joys of family and nature. He designed the veranda surrounding the mansion as a gateway between the indoors and out... a place for his family to gather, enjoy refreshments, and harmonize with nature.
